I’m Blair Ricker — a Calgary-based artist, author, and creator of Transformation Through Creativity.
My work exists at the intersection of fine art, storytelling, intentional living, and personal transformation. Through creativity, I guide women in reconnecting with themselves, exploring their stories, and creating lives that feel aligned with who they are becoming.
My journey has shaped a deep belief that creativity is more than an artistic expression — it is a pathway for reflection, connection, and transformation. Through my art, writing, and creative practices, I create spaces where women can pause, reconnect with their inner wisdom, and rediscover the power within their own stories.
For over fifteen years, my creative practice has unfolded through intuition, nature, and intentional craftsmanship. Working with organic materials — including mushroom burrs preserved through a delicate month-long process — I transform fleeting moments from the natural world into lasting works of art.
When paired with 24-karat gold, these creations become reflections on resilience, impermanence, beauty, and renewal. Each piece is created as an invitation to slow down, look deeper, and recognize the stories held within both nature and ourselves.
From childhood adventures in the Canadian Rockies to a studio practice rooted in intuition and ritual, my work continues to explore the connection between emotion, memory, nature, and transformation.

My Story
My story has always been connected to creativity.
From my earliest memories exploring the Canadian Rockies, I found myself drawn to the beauty, quiet, and wisdom found in the natural world. Nature became a place where I felt connected, inspired, and reminded that transformation is a natural part of life.
Over the years, creativity became more than a passion — it became a language.
A way to process emotions, explore identity, and express what words could
not always capture.
Through my own experiences, I discovered that transformation does not
happen by simply moving forward and leaving pieces of ourselves behind.
It happens when we take time to listen, create, reflect, and reconnect with
the parts of ourselves waiting to be rediscovered.
This understanding became the foundation of my work.
Today, I combine art, storytelling, intentional practices, and creative experiences to support women as they navigate their own seasons of change. Whether through a piece of artwork, a written reflection, a creative practice, or an intentional space, my goal is to create opportunities for connection, expression, and growth.
